The City of Freeport’s annual Spring Festival is a family-friendly event that typically takes place in March or April, timed around the Easter season. The city hasn’t announced the 2027 dates yet, but based on past events, expect it to land on a Saturday morning at a local park or community space.

What is Trunk or Treat?

Trunk or Treat is exactly what it sounds like: local businesses, churches, clubs, and residents decorate the trunks of their cars and hand out candy to kids in a safe, central location. No walking dark neighborhoods, no wondering which houses are participating — just one big parking lot full of creativity, candy, and community spirit.
